Saint Savinien is a picturesque little town bordering the banks of the Charente river, the principal river of the Charente Maritime. We fell in love with the town, taking a walk through Saint Savinien is so charming with its tiny streets, its terracotta roof buildings and little courtyards full of colour, hidden alleyways and cave houses built into the pale yellow rock, the beautiful winding river and the green island, The cute little gardens bordering the river and the art and craft galleries, there is so much to discover.
